LIM28, CFC15, FTL153 - Avian Hello

What do you think of peanut butter and jelly? . . . how about soup and salad? . . . crackers and cheese?  Each item is good alone but is even better when paired with a friend.  This week two of my favorite challenge blogs decided to pair up their challenges. . .CAS-ual Fridays and Clean & Simple Stamping are sharing this sketch: 
To make things even more "tasty" I decided to add another challenge - the Less is More one layer challenge for this week!  Do you want to know how I made that colorful background using the "Mortise Masking" technique?  Click to see a great tutorial video by Julie Ebersole.
