PDCC137 - Color Splash: Blue

I am so glad that this tree isn't in my backyard - although if it were I might not need coffee in the morning!  This fun doodle tree started on a piece of paper torn from a children's dictionary (please note the matchy blue words on the paper) and then embellished with markers, acrylic paint, white gel pen, stickers and washi tape.

The colors are from this week's Color Splash: Blue from The Play Date Cafe.  I am not a fan of blue and for this reason it was important for me to take part in this challenge - takes me out of my comfort zone.

    Great AJ page! I love the tree and if it were in my backyard I love it, but I probably would still need coffee in the morning. Nothing to do with your tree though, it's just what I have to start my day is all. : )

    This is awesome. The elaborate blue circles remind me of blue Christmas lights wrapped around street trees. (One of my favorite winter visuals!) Nice work!

    oh Michelle, i would LOVE having a tree like this in my back yard!! I love it!! i especially love how you balanced it all with those words on the left. And that quote. Yes, so lovely... Yup, if this tree was in my backyard, i'd have my coffee where i could see it every morning. :-) xoxo

    I love your tree as well! Love the whole design of the page. I recently drew a similar tree - but it was in my black and white book, so I didn't add any colour. I called it my bubble tree... somehow we are on a similar creative path right now!
