Edgy Girl -

I was trying to paint a little more "edgy" than usual - used a palette knife to do the skin and hair.  Mostly, I think she looks like she has a dirty face - The cool patterned paper is from Basic Grey.
Want to see something really creepy cool??  When I first painted this girl I held her up for my husband to see and he said, "You freaked me out cause your face and hers morphed together!" - huh?!
YUP - Weird!!  I tend to paint my girls with long reddish brown hair but this was funky even to me!

    Ha! That's very cool, Michelle! You merge perfectly with her. :-) I like this girl. I don't think she looks dirty, I like the effect you've created. And I do love that paper too!

    OMG that's crazy creepy! Pallete knife is fun though you do lose some control. does not look dirty at all to me though! looks awesome

    As I read your post I thought she was fabulous (esp. the skin- love that look)-once I got to the end and saw your photo with her- WOW! I love that photo of you holding it up!!
