29 Faces (Day 7) - Pencil Girl

Pencil gal is not a big fan of exercise as evidenced by her quote!  hee hee
Sketched with pencil and then layered onto a teabag she is embellished with leftover saved pieces from a past project.  Save those small pieces - you never know when they are just the little boost you need to finish a page.
When I look closely at her I see lots things that I would change or tweak but then I realize how far I've come since late last year when I first started drawing faces.   My progress - slow but steady.

  2. You did a beautiful job - artists are never (or rarely) completely satisfied with their own work. I love the quote!

  13. Really beautiful; she looks, while not realistic - somehow natural. I don't know what makes that effect, maybe it's the wonderful shading and the confident eyes!
    HPPF!
