Started with a sketch in the car on top of a watercolored background.
Colored her with pencils and pastels - love the ethereal look she has at this point - almost as if she is stepping out of the mist.
BIG jolt of glitter makes for a totally different look - the topic at Illustration Friday is GOLDEN and I was determined to get the most golden sparkly hair ever! (I've been sweeping up glitter for days. . .)

AWESOME....I do like the hair especially!
Great idea with the hair! And I love it that the watercolor is only on part of the page. Gives a very interesting result ..
This is so cool Michelle. I love the colors on the face.
she's so pretty....and sparkly :)
i bet you will be sweeping up glitter for a while...that stuff gets EVERYWHERE..haha
Michelle, she is beautiful at every stage of your drawing/painting. I know she is really shiny and I love shine!
I love the quote and you followed it beautifully. The watercolor under the pencils and pastels is unique. I love learning new things on PPF from everyone. LOL the glitter, don't I know it. It is perfect for her though. Blessings, Janet PPF

lovely all the way
She is stunning. Her hair is perfect and the pout of her mouth. So much emotion in her face. Very nicely done.

She is very beautiful! I especially loved the stepping- out- of- mist stage!
I am very late for PPF visits this week, but finally getting there... loved seeing the steps that went into this... that stage where she is just pen and pastels is pretty special...xx
