Remember those tourist spoons that you could buy in cheesy giftshops? Sometimes people would have whole collections of them reflecting their eclectic travels around the country.
Maybe this gal is pondering which spoon to add to her collection or perhaps she is wishing that people would stop bringing them to her as gifts - you make the call. . .
I'll bet you thought that "spoon mood" meant that she needed a snuggle cause she was cold. . .
BTW - there is possibly a small child that got a couple of words wrong on his/her spelling test since I found these two papers on the sidewalk outside at work and felt compelled to swipe them.

My mother-in-law has a rather large spoon collection. Its in one of those wooden cabinets. I wonder who came up with the idea to collect spoons in the first place? Love your beautiful portrait! M.x
Ha ha, yes I know a few people with large spoon collections, such an odd thing to collect. Although, my husband and I have started collecting Christmas tree ornaments every time we go overseas, so now everything on our tree has a story. Happy PPF!
Ha! My grandmother used to collect spoons like those! Love your portrait!
Loving your new girl and the story behind it. Happy PPF, Annette x

I actually thought at first that spoon mood had to do with the shape of the girls face. But then you told that great story and and I don't see the spoon in her face any more. Enjoyed your post.
quite interesting
have a nice Friday
much love...
That's exactly what I thought. :) Wonderful portrait!
spoon mood girl is so pretty. i never knew anyone who collected spoons. my mom used to collect little shot glasses from her trips...until she ran out of room to store them!! that's the bad thing about collections!!
She's beautiful .... My mother used to collect those spoons, so whenever I was travelling I got one for her. My eldest sister has put them in a pot on the table for everyone to use when they're drinking coffee or tea :-) It's nice to think back to those travels ...
Lovely work, so beautiful!

Sh,....I don't want my daughter to get the idea of collecting spoons...she has a spoon fetish... I'd rather her spoon like I think your girl wants too!! Oh I remember them well I think I may even have a few somewhere inherited also given to me way back when. Thanks for the memories! Fun post!! Who has even used the word spoon in years...loved hearing it again!
Hugs Giggles
