Maria and her fabulous mane. . .

"Funny how people always seem to remember me for my fabulous mane rather than my fabulous brain", sighed Maria wistfully.

This silly girl was inspired by the Teesha Moore fun drawing lesson that Kristin Dudish is featuring for her next Tutorial Try-out.  Brown is my favorite color (yup, I'm weird that way) and when I found a brown pen at my mom's house one day, I compulsively swiped it for my own nefarious plans!!
LOOK - the peonies are starting to bloom in the yard - my favorite time of the year!!

What a cute girl! Peonie's are just starting to come up right now in our area. Late start this year. Brown is a great color!! My mother use to say that Off White was her favorite color. She was an amazing artist! It is good to be different!

What a fun drawing - brown is a perfectly good color for drawing - a lot softer than black for a whole different look. It's not swiping if you found it a mom's - LOL. Peonies are a favorite of mine - however, the deer love them too! HPPF

Love the brown and the girl with hair and all the rest of her! And isn't it sad how we often are reduced to the looks?
Wonderful peony, it will take ours at least a month, before we have any blooming peonies in the garden!

Happy PPF,
Ilona :-)

Your plans are good plans! The brown looks fantastic on the kraft. My hair is curly, but not THIS curly! I love the spirals. What a lovely face you have drawn and I love that you were able to create this within a class...just very cool indeed!

A great way to use Teesha's tutorial. I love the way you have used spirals for her curly hair. I'm sure I shall remember her her for her hair too, so apologise to her for me.
I just couldn't think of a way of using the tutorial this week, so I passed, chicken that I am.

Maria's mane really is fabulous! And, she looks great in brown - hooray for the great pen heist! ;)

I am loving that even though we all use the same tutorials, all the results we each get are uniquely "us"... Very cool!
