Be willing to be a beginner . . .

Very few words tonight. . .
I am tired -
so tired that my head was bobbing while trying to edit these photos.
BTW - when will I ever learn to be careful about wet ink?!  I smeared her nose all over the place - do you know how much faster I could draw if I didn't have to spend time cleaning up all my mistakes?!
She looks pretty cool here - a big part of me wishes I had stopped at this point.

Beautiful face. I like it that she is slightly off the page. Don't worry about smudges. We all do that.

She looks wonderful! Hey if we didn't make mistakes...We wouldn't learn.

Drawing in ink is so difficult and have avoided it as cannot work without a rubber or water to clean up errors. I love your face design.

Yes, I understand ... is very dificult to decide when the work is finished, I do occasionally happen, and often I loved my job more in qualifying once finished.
But I assure you that your girl is beautiful with touches of yellow. Saludos

I actually really like the pop of color that you added at the end. I'm always putting my hand right in some wet paint and smearing it across the canvas. Makes me nuts!! lol

I visit your blog every post and I love your artwork. I sometimes am shy but I do enjoy knowing there will be a new picture--always delightful--and a message I need or want to hear. THank you for putting it out there for the world to see. I need to just jump up and do it like you do.....

Beautiful painting, I love the colour and how you have drawn her hair. The quote you have used is a great one. I think the world would be rather dull if you believed you had learned everything there was to know!

Oh my gosh, I have smeared so many noses! It is so frustrating! You can't tell in your finished product. :)

I love the way she has a frame at the left and bottom. Lovely use of color! And I totally agree. You have to be willing to learn every day. Practice is the only thing that makes a difference. :)
