SOC - Week 5

The Summer of Color Challenge this week is Red & Royal Blue
with a Smudge, Splash or Pop of Light Blue.
This odd girl looks like she is painted for some kind of sports event - similar to those die-hard fans that support their teams to the bitter end!  Go team!
My vague reference to sports shows you how "non-sporty" my life is - I think I just like the idea of painting one's face with wild abandon and going out in public.  I'd never do it but you can scratch any weird itch in your art journal, right?

I love her face paint - it would look so cool in sparkle for a dress up party

Your sports face is just the ticket for this weeks SOC colours. Well done coming up with something to go in your journal.

She is lovely! And from one non-sporty person to another I thought you were doing pretty good! :) There's always Halloween.

I really like your use of this week's colours. - very original.

She's awesome and I love the vintage flavour she exudes!! My daughter always says she is athletically impaired!!

I like her - I love faces and places painted in unlikely colors. Great job!

she does look ready for a sporting event... though a creative take on the idea... I think more sports fans should come to you to be painted up... xx

Thumbs up on your art colors. I am new here.

I like to look at others as well.

I like to meet new people too.

Have a great day to-morrow.

Not being a big sports fan myself, nor a big fan of using red, white and blue together, I'd say you did her justice.

I got a laugh out of "scratching the itch" when working in a journal. Sounds great, and the girl's face is truly made up for SOME cool event. Love this.
