Cranky gouache. . .

That's what people do who love you.
They put their arms around you and love you
when you're not too lovable."      - Deb Caletti

Tried painting with gouache today - not easy - I'm sure there must be a technique to it but I sure don't know what it is right now.  It seemed to be fighting me - cranky gouache!

I have the same trouble with gouache. I seem to fight with it. However, your piece turned out lovely and I would not know you had any difficulty with it.
Have a great weekend

I have no idea how to use gouache - it surely isn't the way that I use it. But I think you found the right way in the end. Your girl is so vibrantly beautiful x
