I used a little glitter paper (Doodlebug design bon bon sugar coated cardstock) and some sheer ribbon for embellishment. Many of you (nobody, actually) have been asking how I get such professional pictures with my Nikon Coolpix camera - Here is one of my important tools -
This little plastic turtle was invaluable for angling my card at just the right degree for showing the glitter. Hee hee - I'd love to have a nice DSLR camera but do you know how many stamps/paper/embellishments I could buy with that much money?? I've been pretty happy with how nicely my little point and shoot camera has worked out for me - the main thing I was looking for when I bought it was to get something small enough to fit in my purse. I like having a camera with me at all times - My wish list includes a Silhouette, a Teresa Collins Stampmaker and then maybe I'll get a DSLR - a girl can dream, right? If you have any advice on what camera you'd buy if you were me, I'd love to hear it - it definitely needs to be able to take nice clear close-ups! What a cute little helper you've got there ;-)
You crack me up! :D
Your photos always look great- I would keep your wish-list as is! (I have a Canon DSLR EOS Xsi- I think- I love it, but that doesn't mean I'm great with it!!)
love the card and the turtle!
love your mix of stamps all in same color! looks great.
i, too, would love an expensive camera. betty has one i drool over all the time, of course, she has that lens that is even more expensive than the camera. that's how she gets those amazing butterfly shots. ah, to dream!
I am so glad I'm not the only one who will go to great lengths to find a toy of just the right size-usually the one I've stepped on 17 times just to get to my craft room!!! I love the glitter on the card - totally cute!
Awe, your friend made me smile! What a good helper!!! Love the card, Michelle!!!
