This card is for three, count'em three, challenges! The Get Sketchy 74 and Play Date Cafe Challenges pictured below and the Moxie Fab World Challenge: The Appearance of Cameos. I put off playing the Cameo challenge for a few weeks because I had nothing that would work - that is until I looked more closely. . .
Did you know that A Muse makes some silhouette stamps? Actually, they do but I don't have any of those but what I did have were "Mikey" and "Flower Girl" - once they were colored in with a marker it was perfect!! Once I looked outside the obvious I had just what I needed!
Gobs of fabulous Basic Grey papers make up the background. Finishing touches include pieces of a Zva Pearl Swirl and some hand-dyed crinkled seam binding. I do believe that I will save this card for our anniversary this year!!
Guess what my mom did yesterday afternoon? Broke her left wrist playing Volleyball? YUP - you heard that correctly! I was at the hospital until after midnight last night waiting to hear that she was out of surgery and in recovery - gonna head down there today to see what I can do to help - mom is NOT going to like being incapacitated - she is a "doer" not a watcher! She is also a total leftie so that was not the wrist to break. . .

What a creative way to get more mileage out of your stamps by making them into silhouettes! Way to think outside the box. Thanks for playing with us this week at The Play Date Cafe (and congrats on your spotlight over at MF).
