2S4Y53 - Crocheted Flowers. . .

Crocheted flowers are all the rage right now - in fact, all handmade flower embellishments are super popular! It isn't that surprising since they are so pretty and remind us all of summer blooms - I used the current 2Sketches4You design for the layout and stayed pretty monochromatic.
The center flower is double layered and the stamens are from the wedding section of the craft store. I borrowed/swiped the Red Heart Luster Sheen (Pure Aqua) yarn from my mom. This card is petite at 4b (3.5" x 5") which really makes the flowers stand out. The woodgrain background was made by embossing with a Cuttlebug folder a piece of thin cherry real wood paper that I picked up at the Doodlebug. Sentiment is from A Muse.
