YUP - You don't have to tell me that this is weird - I already know that but it was great fun!! This is my portrait of our family in the style of Paul Klee. Several of his works feature stick figures cavorting about.
The stairs represent our house and the dog represents - well, the dog. BONUS points to anyone that can identify the four members of our family correctly!!

What a fun project! I especially like all the different facial expressions.
OMG Michelle... i had so much fun catching up here. Your family in the style of Paul Klee is fantastic. The dog cracked me up. :-) Here's my guess: you are the orange one (ie creative color), your husband is the blue one with glasses, and your 2 children in red and blue.
I love your other posts too especially the gallery artworks and of course, Mildred! She's spectacular.
love your style. xoxo
Love Connor's glasses and Corey's paintbrush hand.
and of course, Lily's ears.
You are quite the art historian! I love this & didn't even see Cory's paintbrush hand at first!
Hello from France! I came across your blog through Julie Fey Fan Balzer. The first word that came to my mind when I saw your family à la Paul Klee was not "weird" but "Great!". I love the shapes of each face and the arrangement round the page.
It is so fun to imitate other artists and see what you can create. Loved your guest post over on Julie's blog and had to come over here to let you know! It was a great tutorial. I love the Neocolor crayons. So much fun in a little crayon!
fantastical!!! i love klee and i love your take
