29 Faces - Brush Pen girl

Tried drawing with a Pentel Brush pen - I hear great things about them but it was giving me fits - plus it wasn't as black as I had expected.  She turned out interesting though - kinda French looking to me.

I don't know her nationality, but she is a real beauty. I think the highlights on her face are great.

Lovely face. And I like that touch of blocked background ~ it frames her nicely. :

It's really hard to get a good thin line with the brush pen. It's easier for loose work and bold lines. You did quite well here. She seems bold and contemplative.

Oui, je suis d'accord! Sometimes when we are not in control of our pen, we turn out pretty interesting art pieces! Happy painting! patsy
