"Ticket Girl"
Fun, vintage ephemera is layered onto a 4" x 6" piece of kraft paper and then embellished with my painted girl.
Do you consider things to be more "artsy" if they have a name? I always seem impressed when people name their works - I especially love ones that are named something quirky. . . Maybe this month all my girls will have a moniker. . .

nice touch with the tickets.
it's funny that you mention the quirky names we give our paintings. I do the same thing. "Big lips" "crazy hair" "scary eyes"....i usually keep the names to myself though :) it's just nice to call them something...
I'm really enjoying seeing your faces....something I struggle with but am trying to persevere with and continually challenging myself LOL. I love how you've set a goal for your challenge at 29 :)
Ticket Girl is cute and sassy! I have trouble coming up with names for my art. I've given most of my face paintings a name though. I try to pick unusual names that seem to fit. It isn't easy!
I really love your style! I like the expression her face has in this picture, it makes me wonder what she's thinking about.
i love your ticket girl!!! love your style!
Love your use of tickets, and such a beautiful face. Perhaps she is wondering if the ticket inspector will catch her out!
I like this face! :-) Sometimes my paintings get titles, but only if the title comes to me spontaneously.
She seems sweet
Both she and I wonder what she is looking at. it seems she is just realizing it.
Love her! xo
So quirky and delightful...love it! Wandered over from Creative Everyday. <3
