Today's card is based on the Embellish Magazine Color Challenge - Using Squares - This tiny 3.5" square card is just the perfect size to tuck into a little gift -
Here are my thoughts on purple - Once upon a time, I had visions of being the mother of a little girl who would live in a purple room decorated with bunnies. Two boys later and there is VERY little purple in my life. In fact, after looking through my pretty extensive crafting collection I realize that there is nary a purple embellishment to my name - no purple ribbon, buttons or gewgaws anywhere! Purple is very different from pink - Pink is like a car wreck on the highway - no matter how determined you are not to look you have to sneak a peek when you drive by. Pink enters your crafting life whether you like it or not - it is like Kudzu - I believe it has procreated in my craft closet when I'm not looking - but apparently you can avoid purple -
The SU! flower seemed a little plain so I jazzed it up a tad with a Sakura Glaze pen and added the sentiment with Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type stickers.
The ribbon and color cardstock are from A Muse (Chiffon green, Chiffon purple and Blackberry).

Pink rules! But I love this sophisticated color palette! I don't have much purple in my stash either, so now I am forced to shop for some! Beautiful card!

I love the glaze pen. Very nice!
I love purple and avoid pink at all costs! I have dark purple however so had a hard time with the lighter purple of this challenge. Great CAS card for the challenge - love it!
