Time for a card based on Kazan's Sketch 61 from the Two Sketches for You blog, the Wplus9 Design Studio Color Cue and Glenda's Random A Musing Challenge 82 to use woodgrain. WHOO HOO - one card/three challenges!
I can't believe that I hadn't gotten my A Muse Birch Forest with Leaves stamp inky yet!! First, I stamped a background with my Modern Wood Block and then stamped the trees right on top - added a smattering of leaves and a sentiment from the A Muse Clear Vintage set. All stamps from A Muse!
In hindsight, I'd have stamped the one little bunch of leaves on the ground to the right of the trees to make a more visually appealing "red triangle" but does it bother me enough to remake the card? NOPE!
I rarely think to use my crimper but it added just the right amount of texture to the background. Added a teeny, tiny SU! clamp (another one of those hoarded things that I never use!) and all was well! LOVE all the white space on this card!!

This is super sweet, Michelle! I love your yellow woodgrain background and those lovely trees. You *did* create a red triangle with the leaves and the sentiment which I love on its side!
Just saw this on SCS and realized it works for my challenge this week (woodgrain!). Beautiful!
Such a SWEET and elegant little scene you've created here, Michelle! I'm swooning over your use of these delicious colors - YEAHOOOO! So elegant and flawlessly assembled paper craft here, sweet one! Thanks for sharing this with the Color Cue! Yee Haw!
Very lovely! And look at you! Using the prized tiny clip!!! :)
I think you achieved the triangle with the red too!! The texture of the crimper adds a great element!
This card is AWESOME! Love the white space, the crisp images, the colors, the crimped strip, the clip, everything!!!!!
This is sososoooo FABULUOS! LOVE it in every way!
This is gorgeous - I love the way you used the colors in the challenge!

Beautiful! I love the focal image and layering of the stamps. That little clamp is too cute. :)
I really love this card! Great job! I love the colors and the crimped band. I rarely think to use my crimper either. I haven't inked my birch stamp either and this gives me some inspiration. :) As always, great card!
Just beautiful! I've been wanting one of those paper crimpers FOREVER! Sooo lovin' the look!
