Card Patterns Sketch 75 - Breezy Girl

Recently, mom and dad headed up to the wilds of Illinois and Wisconsin for a family wedding - afterwards they got to spend time with family in Door County, WI. Mom knows my love of all things paper so she visited Door County Rubber Stamps where she picked up this gorgeous image stamp.
I've been waiting for the right sketch to feature this girl and this week's Card Patterns Sketch 75 was just what I'd been needing! I spent some time with my Copic markers coloring her to match the Basic Grey Cappella paper. Used the sewing machine and an EK Edge punch for a little extra "something".
I used an entire Zva swirl for what would normally be a ribbon embellishment on the sketch - the gentle swirls reminded me of the breeze that is blowing the leaves and her skirt and hair. I "heart" this card!! THANKS, mom!!

What a sweet little girl! I love her rumpled socks! She reminds me a bit of illustrations by A. A. Milne. A lovely card!
