29 Faces (Day 7) - Pencil Girl

Pencil gal is not a big fan of exercise as evidenced by her quote!  hee hee
Sketched with pencil and then layered onto a teabag she is embellished with leftover saved pieces from a past project.  Save those small pieces - you never know when they are just the little boost you need to finish a page.
When I look closely at her I see lots things that I would change or tweak but then I realize how far I've come since late last year when I first started drawing faces.   My progress - slow but steady.

Very lovely Michelle! :) and so smart to use a teabag as a background, I haven't tried that yet.. :)

You did a beautiful job - artists are never (or rarely) completely satisfied with their own work. I love the quote!

I didn't know you last year, but you are sure good now. I look at her and feel like I know her, maybe she even looks a little like me? Or at least how I see myself in my minds eye! Well done. Love the words too. HPPF!

what a beautiful pencil drawing!!

Really beautiful; she looks, while not realistic - somehow natural. I don't know what makes that effect, maybe it's the wonderful shading and the confident eyes!
HPPF!

I love that quote!! I love the pencil work, I am always surprised when I see my early drawings, how far I have come. Love the tonal work on this. Beautiful.
