Get Sketchy #28 - A Muse Tree

The Get Sketchy Challenge #28 this week is to make a shaped card - bonus points if it is Spring themed. What's more spring than a tree with a happy, singing bird with her eggs? Using A Muse's patterned papers made this 3-d tree fun and easy!!
I paper-pieced the eggs, nest and bird so they would stand out against the gingham paper then used the EKSuccess Rock Fern Punch to add some "leafy" texture. Nestabilities scallop circle dies were used to cut out the gingham paper and a Sakura Glaze pen added shine to the eggs and mama bird. I really need/want to get a "grass" punch! ;-)
A fun sentiment on the inside finishes up this card.
Stamps - A Muse 2-4118C Egg nest, 8-8477B Heart sings, 2-4124B Song bird, 3-1039A Tiny heart, 6-4129A Mini flower
Ink - Momento dye ink in Tuxedo Black and Lilac Posies, Tim Holtz Peeled Paint distress ink
Paper - A Muse grass petite gingham, A Muse Woodgrain
Accessories - A Muse Twinkle Stickers, EK Success Rock Fern punch, Copic markers, Nestabilities Large Scallop Circle dies

This card blows my mind! If I were a bird I couldn't think of a better place to raise babies ;) It has such a 'happy home feeling'. Thanks for this double shot of Spring!
